Welcome
to
SWANSBORO VFW POST 9960
History Due to the generosity of the Piner family donating the land needed to establish our organization, W.E. Baggs Sr. to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9960 was chartered on March 21, 1968. Our first commander was Horace Morris. The Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 9960 was chartered the following year, and the Men's Auxiliary was chartered June 2004. For over thirty years, our post and auxiliaries have served not only veterans and their families, but the community as well. |
